Tomorrow I will learn if Smarties melt in my hand.. I don't think they do but will find out tomorrow. The experiment will be conducted at room temperature 21c and I will ensure that my body temperature is normal.. Any sign of a cold/flu/Covid symptoms the experiment will be postponed!

I hate outdoor dining except in very specific circumstances, like a picnic or some sort of cookout/party. Sorry, if I go to a restaurant, I'm eating indoors.

I love dining alfresco! Growing up we didn't have air conditioning in our home. So when ever it was really hot inside mom would serve lunch and/or dinner under the big old apple tree in our front yard. We had a special wooden dining table with built in benches just for this purpose. (Yes, it was just an old, weathered picnic table that my mom had sanded and stained long before I was born).
The wife and I spent 10 days riding through parts of Italy courtesy of Ducati. We stayed at a converted convent just outside of Dicomano were all the meals were served in a tented area outside. (see background of image)

Key to outdoor dining is weather.. and a culture that has some history of alfresco dining.. UK has neither.. Mention BBQ, guaranteed storms!!

One exception to the above, pissed after a heavy night out, kebabs, pie/fish and chips just adds the icing to the cake... Brits look great teetering on their feet with a gob full of Kebab..

TIL: At least so long as you use OEM equipment, there's no need to reprogram the TPMS on the Alfa when switching wheels. The car will pick up the new sensors after a couple of miles like nothing changed. This black magic frightens and confuses me.

TIL that some cars features just 'work' when nothing else typically does with them.

TIL: The difference between British tanks and American tanks.....

British tanks have twice as many ash trays than cup holders, while American tanks have twice as many cup holders than ash trays.

That is super cool. It appears to share a lot of parts with the 911 GT3RS technic model.

Now I'm awfully tempted to see if I can build this buying minimal extra parts...
