Emailed my sales rep who said "sometime this month maybe in the next week or two" but they didn't send me a VIN. What a tease

![]() ![]() ![]() If I understood the design correctly, the coolant comes from one of those vertical metal tubes, goes through the sandwich plate using those two braided lines (are they criss-crossed? why? )and is eventually directed to the other metal tube. Unfortunately, it was hard to get any lower to see what those metal tubes are connected to on the other end. It appears there are two other hoses, but I've no idea where they're going. |

Great! Thanks! that's exactly what I wanted. The old forester fitting were angled and also one that was horizontal. I had issues with that but this one being all angled down makes it easier a bit to route

Wish you would drive it a few weeks and then do one mod at a time so you can evaluate how much something benefits.

Uhhh he races in autocross/track dude. It's not about the quantity of benefit from any one thing it's about getting it into a specific spec as quickly as possible. There's an urgent need for real world data on this car in the class he's running it in this weekend.

Hey OP, can you weigh your stock wheels and tires for us? Since they're already off, just throw them on a bathroom scale or something. Thanks!

There was a YouTube video from Japan where they weighed the stock 18" and tire... 19.1 kg or 42.1 lbs. The Pilot Sport 4 weighs 20 lbs so the wheel is 22.1 lbs.

That's frustrating. I figured I'd at least get a VIN by now. That markup isn't as bad as I've heard though and it seems to be just for folks off the street. There was a pretty big markup on my 2013 when I bought it but they still sold it for MSRP in the end.

I'm keeping mine stock. But it isn't strange that someone bought a car that is literally built to be modified and then modified it so that he can race it. The head of Subaru would be proud of him. That is why he made this car.
