Have any GR86 left Japan for the US yet?

Anybody know if there are any GR86 built in Japan yet? Also curious if any of the cars been loaded and headed our way to the US. With both Toyota USA and Canada saying they’ll be available in December I’d like to think they probably need to be on their way or soon to be on their way to us now.

I recall the Subaru BRZ guys started tracking around end of Sept/Early Oct for their late October/November delivery.

Also, anybody familiar with the Toyota allocation system? With December about a month away I wonder when the allocations will pop up on dealer systems?

Sorry I was referring to cars that will be sold, not for reviews.

No most likely, considering dealers not getting allocations yet

Stay tuned this week or beginning of next week..Toyota dealers’ December allocations will be showing up to them. These will be the first GR86’s to arrive at dealerships in December.

Exciting! I’m on 3 lists so really hoping to get either my gr86 or brz (have one on order) in December.

Same here! I’m lining up both a BRZ and GR 86 and will make a choice once I’ve seen and sat in both. At this point I’m 52% GR 86 and 48% BRZ. Making a decision is harder than I thought so I’ll let my emotions be the factor haha.

I saw you already saw the brz right? Do you know if that sapphire blue is the same as trueno blue? I read somewhere the brz and gr86 shares all the colors but probably Neptune and rally blue?

what I want is a Rally Blue GR86 haha, I like the gr looks more but don’t love any of the colors specifically. I’m also curious how the base model seats compare to each other. Wish I could get the gunmetal wheels on the base brz on the gr86 too but knowing me lll swap wheels before I know it anyways.

Yup Sapphire Blue is Trueno Blue. Then WRB exclusive color for Subie and Neptune Blue for Toyota

I don't expect any cars to be shipped to the US before the first cars are delivered to customers in Japan.
See the thread about Japanese deliveries.
