I've been on a kick for making some "simple" dinners, probably because it's harder to find the time these days to actually cook meals from scratch since the puppy takes all my time.

One of my favorites:

Pita pizza.

The first one is traditional toppings. Just pita, pizza sauce, mozz, and then cheap Hormel cup-n-crisp pepperoni.

The second one is basically BBQ chicken. I made some simple boiled chicken breast for Haru the other day and had some extra today, so I shredded it up. I also had some leftover BBQ sauce from a BBQ place. So pita with BBQ sauce on top, mozz, and then some of the chicken.

Relatively cheap, simple, and tasty.

Sunday dinner... perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked beef with some tender asparagus and red potatoes. Also a nice chocolate pie for dessert.

if dessert was that good, you'd eat the plate trying to get to it too!
