If you have a VIN it may be too late to add port-installed accessories. In that case if you wanted to add something it would need to be a whole new order which would definitely push your ETA back and spot “in line.”

On the other hand, I can still make changes to the cars (with no VINs) I ordered in the end of July.

If your order has no VIN yet your dealer should still be able add a port installed accessory.

My dealer is acting like they don’t care. Any updates I want, need to contact SOA directly.

They don't care. The car will sell, either to you or someone else.

Well my dealer still hasn't gotten back to me however I officially have a VIN and a November ETA courtesy of SOA! My order went in on July 30th at what I believe is a fairly high volume dealer. This car can't come soon enough!

Good question. I would imagine that some are for dealer stock. Highest VIN is now 858.

Dealer said late April. I called some others and they gave earlier dates. The dealer I placed the order with said the other dealers are just telling me what I want to hear. Not sure who is lying. A March delivery would be perfect so April isn’t too far off the mark, and we’ve bought a car from them before and like them.

I’ve seen reference to port installed short shift kit. They didn’t seem to know anything about it. Is there a short shift kit from Subaru Available?

Thanks
What dealer are you working with?

Car got processed at the port today. Woohoo! Just needs to find a truck for the short drive to the dealer.

The unfortunate part is I'm out of town till Tuesday haha. First one to a store and I can't go pick it up!

I'm going into the dealership to order a BRZ tomorrow. People who have ordered recently, what is your expected delivery time?

Depends entirely on the dealership and what you order. If you find a dealer that hasn’t sold their first couple of allocations yet, and you order something really common that matches what they’re getting (WRB MT manual for example), you may still be looking at this year. On the other end of the spectrum some people have been told April.

I would remove my VIN from the forum if I were you. Maybe I am being too cautious.

What vindecoder is that?
