i don't think vette's are allowed to get over 50k miles on them. so it's nearly used up.

And yet how many drive SUVs or trucks which cost more than that Corvette? Probably to insure, to run and maintain, and to buy.

i don't even remember where i heard it-- it's a true story, if i figure it out, i'll even give credit...

dude buys a 2 year old CPO bmw m3. something like $30k out the door.

dude pulls up to work the first day after, and immediately starts getting shit from his coworker about "who's the high roller!" and "mr. moneybags and his expensive car!"

end of the day, that coworker leaves in his 1-year old, platinum edition f350 that is still worth north of $80k on that day...
