I am reminded of Tomb Raider playing HZD.

Oh yes, masterpiece. CoD would be able to bank a lot of money if the rebooted a lot of their classics. Modern Warfare was very good with way less cheesy AI dialog than Cold War. I wonder how 6 Days in Fallujah may play out.
Apparently the Russian sound bites in MW were pretty bad according to the Russian guy I went to college with. Like they didn't form complete sentences or something.

i've always enjoyed playing it. it's not a particularly difficult game, it's very COD-ish in layout and goals. but with the suit superpowers the fun is in the variety of ways to play the same mission different ways.

Thank you both.
I am thoroughly enjoying this game. (14 hours play time.)
Yeah, it's a console port and as such I find the controls portish. Also, I can't get over how shiny her face is. Too much foundation? I don't know, make-up isn't my forté but what ever it is she should use less of it. Her enemies will see the face glint from kilometers away.
I have all but forgotten FC6.
Excuse me, I have to go now and play some more.

Yea HZD is one of my gaming highlights of the last few years. I'm very excited about the sequel coming in February, hopefully it comes to PC too.

The shiny face is probably meant to highlight a lack of makeup (aside from the facepaint and primitive eyeliner on some characters). Without modern makeup like primers and foundation you will see more natural skin oils and a generally blotchier and shinier skin texture. I like the decision they made to not make Aloy another hot video game glamour model. She is still pretty, but looks realistic, capable, and properly equipped.

Definitely has "shiny plastic face syndrome", maybe its from living in a post apocalyptic world, all that radiation? The part that bugs me the most is the area where the lips and the teeth meet though. It's just creepy looking.

I agree with @Yoshoobaroo on how they made Aloy "pretty enough" without being unrealistic.

I enjoy any game that uses a bow as its primary weapon. I keep hoping that Rocksteady would take the Arkham games as a base and create a Green Arrow game. I think that would be fantastic.

For those trying to suffer through FC6. Go into the uibisoft launcher and turn off the overlay for a huge boost to FPS.

I actually gave FC6 another chance, kinda have to because I paid $60 for damn thing anyways.

I have to say I'm enjoying it a little more, now that I know not to sell my loot for money. Makes it very easy if you invest into the guerilla network because you can fast travel to areas you have never been and loot awaits for you there. I mean you could fly somewhere, but there's anti aircraft guns all over the map, which encourages you to either drive or invest on your camp.

There's actually more stuff to do compared to FC5, they implemented the system from Assasins Creed Brotherhood where you assign a crew to do missions.

Still not perfect, but there are plenty of missions and side quest to keep me entertained and gather cool weapons, which the last FC lacked.

If you really like a vehicle, and want it delivered whenever you want, just take out your phone and scan it. You don't have to drive it to the nearest camp. I now have a tank that I can fck shit up with.

On another topic, the reviews for Resident Evil 4 VR are amazing. I would buy a headset just for that game. Except I'm not looking forward fighting the chainsaw guys and the verdugo. Lets not forget how annoying is to take care of Ashley while on the castle stage.

I own a Quest and a Quest 2. Honestly, I've attempted to play a couple of "serious games" on them but in the end, I find them much better for casual games (like mini golf, or elven assassin). Any game where you have to move around a lot (say Skyrim VR) is just annoying.

The "serious game" exception is something where the player is seated, like flight simulation or racing, and the world moves around them. For those, as long as you have the controls, it's great.
