I thought about buying it, but figured all they did was "remaster" it to make it unplayable on current hardware.

I thought one of the major points was to make it actually use multi-core processors? Apparently the engine was originally written assuming the future was 5GHz+ single cores. Meanwhile we *just* hit 5GHz processors 15 years later lol.

Anyone tried Back for Blood yet? Not thrilled about doing it with randoms online, so I might try it solo like I used to with L4D.

No trying to to spend another $60 on a game I won't really dive into, except for Battlefield.

It’s on gamepass so I’ve installed it. I don’t have anyone to play with and with kids it’s so hard to coordinate anyway. L4D was fun because everyone in my college dorm was playing it. One of these days I’ll check out B4B solo, probably after they do the solo tweaks they’ve announced

My 3 sons and I played the Open Beta. It was OK, but I'm personally not much of a Zombie hoard fan. We played the coop mode mostly and it was good. The online teams play though was not good.

Personally, I would not pay anywhere near $60 for it. Maybe when it's under $20, but like I said I'm not a real fan of the genre.

Battlefield:1942 was awesome. Lol.

I don’t think I’ve played a Battlefield game since like 2003.

L4D was life in High school. That and counter strike.

I played 3-4 and the WW1 ones, mostly for the story modes. With the new one I'm trying to move out of Warzone and try something new and a little more challenging when it comes to enemy engagement.

Honestly, someone should remake the Medal of Honor PS2 releases. Frontline was a piece of art and I used to play the campaign over and over.

How did you like the WWI version? I seem to recall that Ian and Orhais had good things to say about it, but I was so busy with work back when those came out, I had no chance to look into them.

I also remember enjoying COD:World at War. Multiplayer and Nazi Zombies were fun. 2008 release date. Feels so long ago.

It was alright, nothing too great. Iirc you play 4-5 different campaigns from the different fronts. It was free on PSN so there were no hard feelings against it.

Oh yes, masterpiece. CoD would be able to bank a lot of money if the rebooted a lot of their classics. Modern Warfare was very good with way less cheesy AI dialog than Cold War. I wonder how 6 Days in Fallujah may play out.
