Every time this thread has a response of life again, my hopes rose that there is a US announcement.

Oh I'd get the GR Yaris if it were offered here, too. But I also find the Corolla to be super slick for an econo-hatch.

If the Corolla will retain the drivetrain from the Yaris, I'd consider it. I can see Toyota just keeping it a FWD for the Corolla. I can forgo the CF roof to save some production cost. As cool as it may be to have, I don't track my cars, so it's not a high priority for me.

What if you were Mexican with a GR Yaris as your only car and immigrated to the US, can you bring your car across the border? |

GR Corolla, pure speculation but looks cool if this is the direction they’re going with.

On another note, I wouldn't be opposed to FWD since I don't track or drive em' to their potential anyways. Just something decent for my daily commute would be awesome with my Supra! Hell, at least Toyota's trying! |

I've been an occasional customer at Fensport, they have done some stuff for me, now have an itch to head back to get further suspension tweaks.. So got browsing their website and happen upon the following.. Their new project car (full spec of what they have done and plan on the blog):
