SWP, Premium, 6MT, VIN 2460, dealer was allocated 15, 14 were pre-orders, mine no one wanted, but just what I was looking for! Walked in last thursday and slapped a down payment! 8/20

WRB 6MT Limited VIN 2183. Hoping 1st or 2nd week of August according to salesperson's estimate. This was a cancelled pre-order so when I went in last weekend it already had a VIN which means it was en route to the US from Japan. That's how they do things here in New England.

Hey Scott - I ordered mine through Subaru on Grand. I saw Evanston got a new shipment (3 may be 4 BRZs) in this past weekend and then they were gone like hotcakes (according to cars.com).
Since our VINS are pretty close to each other, I really hope mine would arrive early (i.e., the ETA 8/20 you have indicated on your post). Ran EDIT: hope we all get ours sooner  Quote:

Just for reference - it appears that VIN number is not the primary driver for early deliver. It is a combination of color and VIN and in the case I have seen so far from this forum is that color trumps VIN. WRB > SWP in terms of delivery.

Just got word from my dealer. Ordered March 3rd. Scheduled to arrive August 6th
Galaxy Blue/Limited/manual Never asked for the VIN. |
