You might think about taller tires and/or larger diameter wheels. Will fill up the gap without lose of ground clearance or friggin' with alignment, camber etc.
Just sayin'

Don't go too far. Easy to get into stuff you really don't need. I rarely use my adjusters until just recently.

I feel out of place lol. I mean, I like to offer whatever knowledge I can on different things, but I got a lot to learn on many things like more in-depth mechanical knowledge, FI applications, Suspension.

I love it though, learn something new every day.

Mostly trying to make the best educated choice, I don't like to install anything on the car without properly doing research, except for the crank pulley, that was nice and shiny and I like shiny stuff.

But several on here have gone to taller profiles and been successful filling the gap.

I believe that is what he meant by "taller tires". Personally I hate low profile tires, so I've considered doing that as well. I'm just concerned about how much it would screw up the speedometer since I don't believe it has any adjustments for tire size.

It's been a bad year for Miata's I'll admit but we are taking steps to rectify that and one of those offenders has been suspended for several months.

There's SO much racing to enjoy in the PacNW that doesn't put you as risk of Miatas - especially racing with Conference.

i like the idea of lowering my car. i agree, dropping it 1" makes it look way better.

but 1" is a massive amount. i just barely clear speed bumps, curbs, and parking blocks the way it is. dropping 1" means i'd wreck my front bumper in the first 2 weeks.

i'm really happy with the oem dampening, so aftermarket dampening doesn't really do anything i need.

so i leave it.

This is basically the conclusion I've come to. Would look better, would be fun to try some new things, but I already have to be careful pulling out of my pizza place. And there's no way in hell I'd have made it into a few places I've gone with a lowered car.

Though I REALLY want to lower my Buick... But that's even more stupider.

I have the RCE Yellows, so about .75" drop.

My (new) apartment complex has the WORST speedbumps ever. I have to go super diagonally and then as slow as possible or I scrape front lip or sideskirts. The undersides of them are probably horrifically awful now. Pretty sure I've also bottomed out my exhaust on them...

Anybody have an opinion on me getting an OFT if I have no plans currently to do another custom dyno tune (with Ecutek) like I did before?

I don't want to spend another $1200-2000 after how poorly the last one went and I know a lot of people have decent experiences just using the standard stage X tunes that are available for OFT at this point.

According to the forums, you lose your Ecutek license if you flash with OFT. But I contacted Ecutek myself this week and they confirmed my VIN is in their records. They insisted that if I "lose" the license by using OFT they'll re-activate it without any problems/fee for a tuner to tune my car with Ecutek again if I ever want to.

So it's tempting to pick up an OFT and try one.
