Thank you. Despite not posting on this thread about it, I am very excited to be a dad. Jenson (ITS A BOY!) is due in June. The wing is the last project on this car for the foreseeable future. I am planning on buying one set of hoosier r7 scrubs for one event at Watkins Glen in 2021 before throwing a cover over the FRS and retiring to iRacing for the year. We will see how that works out.
I still have some plans for this car. I don't see the FA20 lasting much longer but I will get to that when it feels right. If anyone is looking for a well broken in FA20 with 50k. HMU. lol

We are ready to pull the trigger on a a house but the market is slim pickings at the moment. Hopefully the housing market improves soon so we can buy a house with a garage sooner than later.

I had to make new mounts to push the wing back where I wanted it. I snagged some hardware and fully mounted it for the first time. I might get to cutting slots in the trunk this weekend. Now I am thinking about what I want to do with the endplates.
I also purchased a piece of 1/2" birch so I can continue working on my splitter. I have been using alumalite for a while but figured I would switch on this variant for cost reasons and sustainability. This splitter is 1.75" lower than last years Verus based splitter. I am probably going to bash it on things. It will also be nice to router the leading edge.

One more wing picture before I move back to the splitter. Endplates are done! Just need to wrap the wing and get some quick latches for the trunk.

What up. As I said in the previous posts, I have decided to skip the 2021 track season with the FRS due to my son expected in early June. I buttoned up the wing and the majority of the front splitter and tucked it in a dark corner of my shop.
I did get an opportunity to go to Watkins Glen this weekend with my E36 M3. As an instructor I get to drive a lot of cars. A student of mine wanted me to drive prepped FRS so I got a good chance to compare the M3 vs FRS. The E36 M3 is a well known great chassis and track weapon. However, I REALLY missed my FRS. I didn't know how good it was until I drove both back to back and I have to say, after 8 years of track use, there isn't a better track car for the price. Anywho. That will most likely be it for me until late fall. I do have some exciting plans but we will play it by ear. Thanks to everyone who reads my trash posting here. I love to help others and the feedback I have gotten here is amazing. I will be checking in on the forum from time to time.

Congrats on the baby boy! The car will always be there when you are ready to come back but kids only stay as kids for a short period of time. Enjoy the time.

Thanks again for driving my car and showing me the correct way to tackle the Glen. Congrats on your son, and hope to see you at the track once everything settles down!

Thank YOU for giving up a session for me. I would tentatively like to reserve your passenger seat for the next event I can attend. I would love to ride along to give you some live feedback. You have a really solid setup and have a good understanding when it comes to smart modifications. Don't get to wrapped up in it though. Seat time > mods.

She moved over the weekend! Things are starting to normalize with the family so I spent a good chunk of the weekend at my shop. The FRS fired right up on 1 year old E85 and drove to my detail friends shop to clean the dust off before winter hits.
Goals for this winter are pretty mild but: Button up the high aero package splitter OS giken diff New wheels/tires Change all fluids A little more aggressive alignment than in 2020 AIM Solo 2 DL Livery update Hope it holds together for another year

We offer custom configuration to match your car's weight, tire, power, aero, and suspension; this is dependent on you providing us with this information for us to provide the tuning service. We do not have a "standard" setup, since we match each diff to the end user. There is no one-size-fits-all solution here. Please note that the well tuned LSD will enhance the innate behavior of the car by effectively unlocking/enabling unused rear grip. It should lead to a more predictable car and improved driver confidence, but can also reveal weak points in the car's balance.
