If the 40v Ryobi are discharged too low or are put on the charger hot they may not charge. As said, if hot let them cool. If over dis charged put it in the charger and let it go through the start charge sequence, remove and repeat several times and they will get enough voltage to start the normal charge rate.
Just as many new car chargers will not charge a dead battery. |

Talk of LiPO RC batteries and chargers had me kicking myself. It's a weird feeling remembering life before home ownership, or more to the point, having a permanent working space. I know I should straighten up but I'm still enjoying the rebellion.

I'm all but done with flying r/c. The new FAA requirements are getting impossible to deal with. Just to fly my blade 400 in my backyard, line of sight, never breaking 25' in any direction, I'm supposed to have my FAA id# on the heli, as well as a remote id module that transmits my heli's location. I believe I'm also supposed to be filing a flight plan as well...

I have a few drones small enough to be ok but never fly them. Horrible at it. Also a whole bunch of cars I never run anywhere. Was going to start racing them then got back into autocross. Since then all the tracks have disappeared. Some pretty nice hardware for it, collecting dust.

Personally, I had no issue getting them registered, and have had one replaced under warranty with no issue. The only real catch I found is only batteries that come with a tool are covered, separately purchased batteries are not.
