Literally the last bolt... FML
Edit. Made it work... It feels completely stripped, but it's just holding the rear seat cushion in place. Hopefully never has to come out again. Last edited by Spuds; 10-02-2021 at 10:28 PM. |

![]() I probably cross threaded it and messed up the threads in the hole, which then messed up the threads on the screw? Idk. Or maybe something got wedged inside one of the threads in the hole? The real fix is going to be drilling and tapping I think. I tried removing the first few threads on the screw to see if I just messed that up, but the deformation kept moving up the screw when I tried it again. I don't have a tap set, but it's in for now. Maybe for ever lol. |

It's the only fastener holding the seat cushion in place (there is a hook at the back). The last screw of putting my rear seats back in is what I meant.

Those screws are a bitch to line up. Carpet and sloppy clip. I've struggled with them too.

Thus far for my new job I've had to do 21 different 'training' courses and had to create 4 different accounts for said training. This does not include the mandatory training course for the DoD/Army. I recall, there are 5 of those.

I've finally done it! I've managed to drive through a construction zone with ground down road surface and not screw up my car!
