First day of meetings for the new job have helped put me at ease quite a bit. It will be interesting being back on an Army installation after nearly 12 years. Also quite happy with the new place I have. Although I got a roommate temporarily till I get more established, it's nice to have someone whose stationed at my new job so I can ask stupid questions like where something is without having to google the shit out of it all.

Wait, you went back to the Army? Don't tell me you ended up at Ft. Hood.

Ah, that's cool. I thought that the Army was sending people to schools to do that? It might be for ACFT grading. That's a first, didn't know they hired contractors for that.

You won't find a house that has a portable garage, you either buy the house with one already on it, or you're SOL.

Yes they do have official graders. My job is more or less helping troops get in better shape. Particularly those who either have failed their ACFT or need other forms of assistance with exercise. I.e. fatties and baddies.

Though I get the real formal introduction on Thursday
