Will 16's fit?

Best as I can tell, 16's will fit the new 22 BRZ. I have an extra set of super sticky 225/50/R16's and debating if I want to keep them for autocross in the BRZ........thoughts? It would be a square set of 225's for now and maybe next year grab a pair of wider ones for the rear?

Brakes and hubs are the same so I'm thinking you'll be just fine with that setup.

I’m was wondering this myself. I have a spare set of winter wheels and tires at 215/55-16. Would love to use them on the BRZ. Bolt pattern is confirmed at 5-100 right?

I’m assuming you’re planing street class autox? If not, ignore below lol

The wheels on this are wider than the old car afaik unless you had the PP car. Old was 7” wide. Gen2 are all 7.5” wide. Same offset and bolt pattern.

First year Im just ignoring PAX and will run open, focus entirely on the driving and the raw gains I can improve upon with seat time. Once I feel comfortable enough to push and have improved more, then I can go chasing PAX.

I will be curious to see if the 2nd Gen gets classed differently, one would assume so.

My assumption is CS. It fits there correctly. I know some people more in the know that are swearing up and down it’ll be DS.

I’m almost hoping DS for the softer pax and slower class nationally LOL. CS and SSC both beat DS at Lincoln this year. I feel like the gen2 cars in DS may struggle on smaller local lots and dig courses but should do well on speed maintenance/transition courses.

Will be fun to see how it does prepped compared to the first Gen prepped.
