How bad is this???
If any one wants a set of half worn C1’s with half life left let me know. Standard brakes.

A couple things for the OP:
1: If your pads are getting low (past 50% material) you'll notice they will wear faster as mentioned earlier - part of this reality is due to the fact there's less material acting as both a heat sync and a heat dissipater. You can extend the longevity of the pads and run them almost down to the backing plate (assuming the pad can do that - raybestos can, hawk/cobalt cannot) by taking an old brake pad, knocking off the material so you just have the virgin backing plate and then inserting that behind the existing worn pads in the caliper. It will make the pedal feel like you put in a set of new pads AND increase the heat sync which will act to mitigate the accelerated wear. 2: When it comes to the OEM brake setup (no BBK, no monoblock caliper), the $51 Centric Premiums are going to perform just about as well as rotors twice the price or more! The alternative to the Centrics are the rotors from Altrom (NAPA) or Duralast or others that are "High Carbon" as they withstand the heat/cool cycling very well and those are usually in the $75/rotor price range. The most fun way to do this is to buy a set of all three, Centric, High Carbon and Brembo x-drilled and then document the lifespan and functionality. Then you will know which one offers the best value in life vs dollar.
