Road debris and now discovering Ebay shipping 'costs'

So today I hit some road debris. Took out the drivers side DRL, Fog light, fender liner, and cracked my bumper... Not fun. Anyways; this has me looking for replacement parts. Looking at a few different places and wound up on ebay where I found THIS OUTRAGE

$1000 US for shipping?!?!?! WTF?!

Sidenote: these look quite different on the back (including connector direction) but would they actually work? Says they're compatible with 2013 BRZ.

It says free shipping when I click on it

You can have my OE fogs when I pull them if you can wait that long.

I see free shipping as well. Might be an error on the original post that was quickly corrected.

Looks like he is in Canada. Wonder if that has something to do with it.

Must be. Still shows $1000 for me.
Does anyone know where I can buy the DRL? The stealership wants $202.40 + tax.

Parts were cheaper and easier to find for my BMW!

$202.40 is a lot less than the $1000 shipping?

The $1000 shipping was on the fog light. I already found a better set of those for ~$80 shipped.

Dealerships seem confused about the DRL. First guy said 202, second guy said 60 no returns, needed VIN to verify (not like there's a bunch of options for the DRL on a 2013 BRZ). Called back with the VIN and suddenly it's 220.

You can always delete the DRLs
