My Fast Traxx had base brakes and they never faded.
Thing could stop on a dime and was fast as hell.

Worth pointing out that brake usage is driver-dependant. Different drivers can have very different brake usage/consumption. Being harder on brakes doesn't mean you're faster. It is possible to overuse the brakes, in fact that is the norm at HPDEs. "As an instructor" I see it a lot...

I was driving to the gas station and after hitting several red lights in a row, my brakes overheated and I started having brake fade. I have brembos with oe pads and fluid. Should I upgrade to the AP Racing kit and if so, which should I get? I saw there was an endurance and sprint kit.

Unless you enjoy crashing into the intersection after a few more lights I’d grab the endurance kit.

sounds like your real problem is a lack of speed. carry more speed into the green light, and you'll never even see the red light!

Yea you’ll see a blue one if you go fast enough

Edit: I was trying to make a blue shift joke, but I just realized it sounds like I’m talking about the police.

Yeah I still don't know the story other than he started getting butt hurt. So my assumption is he or someone else started saying some shit and it got the thread deleted and him banned.

Looks like you are dead on, the thread about a 718 got full of keyboard rage and looks like el jefe bit the dust for his thread about getting one

I don't know where it ended but there was a lot of ish talking on all sides in there, seems el jefe didn't meet the community standards or that was the easiest way for mods to settle the matter.

Though I agreed with him that holding off on the performance pack (brembos and sachs option) for later model years is dumb at the end of the day. The 718 thread was just stupid though, very petty and childish for everyone involved.

I vaguely remember him making snarky remarks so it's no surprise if he went full man-child and got himself banned. Still, shame as it's always fun to read these downfalls.

Someone needs to do a show for the forum like the old NAsioc periodic reviews. Always a good laugh and often had some crazy stuff from crazy people.

I know the mods have to do their job, but it was fun while it lasted.
