If you watch the tail end of the video I posted above you can definitely see some metal flake. Not sure how pearlescent it is though.

Edit: based on the post below it sounds like it’s pearl. I thought that pearl whites were metallic though?

Edit 2: sounds like pearl isn’t metallic after all. Simple google search gave this result:

“Pearlescent paints, referred to by some car manufacturers as 'Mica' or 'Pearl' for short go through a similar process to metallic paints except the particles are ceramic”

Just look up the Subaru names for the colours:

Toyota = Subaru
Trueno Blue = Sapphire Blue Pearl
Track bRed = Ignition Red
Halo White = Crystal White Pearl
Steel Silver = Ice Silver Metallic
Pavement Grey = Magnetite Grey Metallic
Raven Black = Crystal Black Silica

Look at the new WRX teaser. It’s orange. Pretty sure it’ll be used on a twin.

Mostly every 86 color was a Subaru color with the exception of the 10 Series silver.

I believe the color code for the 2022 Neptune Blue is the same as the one for 2020? You can look up the latter.
