Finished off my RT660's. 3 sessions into the 5th day and they gave up and started coming apart.

maintenance!

new battery, as the 7 year old original was starting a little hard, and didn't want to go into fall/winter with it.

new serpentine belt, the original had 1 crack in it that would make it squeak on startup after moisture or cold

did a double-oil change as well. was admiring how handy the fumoto valve is, so i opened it up to drain out the old oil, and started re-filling before closing it. i think i only lost a quart to the process!

in the process of a paint detail. it's been 5 years, time to re-wax, and some very minor scratch correction.

and finally fixed the crusty headlights that have been bothering me.

Installed JDM style exhaust hangars to try and address some minor cabin resonance (totally gone now!) and Verus Non-aggressive rear diffuser.

I'm actually quite glad that I decided to take off the old OEM style rep. "diffuser". 100% of the bolts and connection hardware were rusted, seized, and snapped upon removal after only a few years of being on the car. You get what you pay for I suppose.

Functional aero on a car that never sees the track? Sounds about right

Installed FTSpeed Steering Wheel

I took advantage of the Labor Day sale and bought the FTSpeed carbon fiber and leather steering wheel. Install went smoothly and I love the flat bottom, makes it easier to get in and out.
