Driving through Toyota dealerships casually is a lot of fun. I feel like I'm doing Toyota a deed by advertising this wonderful piece of machinery.

Had a guy almost wreck on his motorcycle yesterday because he kept trying to look over at my BRZ. I love the car too, but eyes on the road everybody.

Went to the beach this weekend and had 6 separate groups of people stop and comment on the car. We were only standing by the car for less than 5 minutes total just to park and pack/unpack. I thought it would be interesting to see how many people that stoped to look as we were parked there for 3 hrs each day.

Drove in to the Hyundai dealership to check out a genesis coupe with my buddy. Everyone (employee's included) came over to get a look at the FRS!

Pulled into the mall pick-up area, and one guy said that he thought my red FR-S was some version of a Ferrari... LoL, I don't believe him, but I said I'd happily take the compliment anyway.

He asked if the car came in auto transmission, and asked details of where I bought the car... Maybe he wants an FR-S now??

Another nice guy at a Walmart parking lot said, "I love those things" (newly released Toyobaru twins, I suppose).

I'm getting used to smiling more often with this car, hahahe.

In one weekend I heard this 3 times from 3 different people:

"Why do you have a swastika on the side of your car?"

me: "That's an 86, not a SS."

Had and interesting/weird comment from a passenger in a Jeep wrangler besides me at a light today. Passenger gets my attention then he says "You know it looks like a Maserati, but it's not one." I said "I've gotten similar compliments on the Maserati look but yeah, I know it's not one..."

Saw another FR-S today too just before stopping at that light... an Argento going the opposite direction.

My buddy said the same thing...although I can tell he just thinks I should have gotten the BRZ because "it's a Subaru".

I have told a few people at work (including a Jewish guy), and no one else thought it looked anything like a swastika. I think it says a lot about of who you really are, if you see a swastika in something. Bunch of racists y0
