UEL on Auto
Ok, Yes, I did find a couple threads, but those are so 2016... super dead. I do not revive the dead.
Anyway, I'm looking to get UEL headers, w/o a Cat, because I don't live in CA, I have Spec D Cat back exhaust N1 style (yeah yeah shush) already installed, and was looking to get more subie rumble out of it, and at the same time increase the HP (MOAR POWAH BABEH!) Did I mention its an Auto? because I drive an Auto. Sue me. I also don't want a CEL staring at me like every other Subaru out there on the road, so I've already looked into a way to circumvent that issue without a cat, which some of you already know... That's the thing though, most UEL headers on the market have the Up stream sensor but not the down stream sensor, so which UEL header should I go with? I know long story right? TLDR; Need UEL that does not throw CEL Must bolt up to cheap Spec D exhaust. Fits an Auto.

If you use OFT tune, it won't throw a code. I've had my UEL catless for two years as long as you don't do anything with the intake it should be fine.

Get what mike said. Drive for a bit see how you like it. Then pay 50 bucks for Wayno tune, it helps the auto for everyday driving and uses the OFT. Keep stock FP or catless header will be loud.
