Yea I’ve had lots of comments about how nice mine sounds. No raspy here. Doesn’t sound like most import 4 cylinders, that high pitch raspy rice sound. If it did, I’d change it. That’s why I love this car, love my set up, love how it’s growls like a monster, and love how it drives. Yea is lacking a bit in the power department but honestly, it’s still so fun to drive. I’m not an attention getter, but she sure is. The way people look at it, is the same way I look at it everyday when I close the door and lock my alarm to go to work.

6 0-60? I’d like to see that data.
Here you go, 6 seconds was his slowest time

He's running the standard OFT tune with Borla UEL's and e85. There are faster examples i've seen in the past but this is the first one I found

And here's a car with pretty much the same set up but a custom tune beating a stock wrx fairly easily from 5:30

My current car is on 23k.

I had changed the pulley after all this and honestly, wasn't even worth it. E85 alone smokes all the other upgrades i have done.
I planned to go that exact set up aswell but opted not to as I was told the quad remark was stupid loud on its own.

Ended up getting an X-Force catback with a muffler valve and it's pretty much perfect. Loud in streets and when you get on it, no drone when you're cruising and not that loud on the highway/ in open space. With the option to muffle all exhaust sound to quieter than stock with a button press

There is ZERO possibility that that is correct. How are you measuring your gas mileage? If you are relying on the dash readout (and it appears that you are), you aren't getting the correct number (nor were you getting it on 93). You need to calculate based upon actual miles driven on a known quantity of fuel. It totally effects the miles left until empty calculation as well - its funny on e85 for it to say I've got 80 miles to go and then 40 miles later, say I am almost empty.

In any event, I was getting about 28-29 on petrol, and now get around 20-21 on e85. Of course, given the price for e85 around here it is still about the same price per mile, maybe even cheaper, than 93 petrol.

Depending on the person and their feel for the power changes on this platform, I would agree that E85 definitely feels much improved over other bolt-on mods.

As for mpg's, it's literally impossible for you not to have lower mpg's unless you baby it much more than you used to. E85 contains almost 30% less energy than gasoline, which is why you absolutely HAVE to pump more fuel in.

I hear you all. But i am going based on just my daily driving to work and home (thats all i do with this car) working and i floor it here and there for both. With 93 and E85 i still put gas every two weeks. Honestly, nothing has changed for me guys. You both might be right and it's wasting more, and luckily i don't see it? But i aint complaining.

As I said, its really not possible. But the big thing I wanted to let you know is if you were basing it on the estimated MPG on the dash, it is not correct. Mine still reads 28-29 even though I know through dividing miles driven/fuel consumed, I get closer to 20. And the more important point - miles to empty is similarly wrong and that IS something you need to be aware of.

Just as a side note, this data may vary for people as well. My estimated MPG on the screen does drop with the use of ethanol, and more the closer I get to E85. It is still not accurate, but it tries, and is certainly not the same as when I ran 93 all the time. My miles to empty drop quite a bit too, as this is calculated based on the estimated MPG.
