IIRC Franklin has the best driving stats and gets a concentration skill for driving too.

But yea keeping cars undamaged in GTA is virtually impossible.

Can I take a minute to rant about launchers? Not Steam/GOG/Epic, but the individual publisher/game launchers that so many publishers have pop up before the game actually launches. (Uplay, cyberpunk launcher, rockstar social club, zenimax’s launcher for ESO, etc.) Bonus points off if you need to click something to start the game.

WHYYYYYY. Consoles don’t have this bullshit. It’s especially annoying if I’m trying to play a game on my couch with a controller and I have to walk upstairs to my pc to click the damn start button because the launcher doesn’t have controller support!

The launcher for multi-game remasters like the Mass Effect LE are okay, as long as they support controllers too. Good job BioWare.

Uplay is the absolute worse. It uses a service that is technically malware, as I read a description somewhere in reddit. If you don't disable this service it will make all of your games crash either before start menu, or mid-game. Took me forever to find a solution on why Far Cry and A.C Valhalla kept crashing.

Huh. Weird. Didn’t have those issues with Odyssey.

It is the Nahimic Service. Is supposed to be a sound service. But in a way is technically malware. If your games suddenly start crashing before they load, is probably that.

i'm only through steam, but then farcry 3+4, as well as driver:parallel lines all need to separately update and launch uplay before the game can run... it sucks.

Even if you use only Steam, the games require the other overlays. Now you got layers, you know like an onion, or a parfait. I love a parfait.

Far Cry 5 has been an amazing game. Kind of weird how the The Division / Ghost Recon don't have the same type of camera angles and game-play as the Far Cry series. Must get FC6 because if its anything close to 5, is going to be definitely worth it.

A few things I would change would be the lack of variety for weapons. Not all boats, planes, vehicles, are fully customizable, other than changing the color, but that is it.
Your followers sometimes seem to have a mind of their own even when you're trying to sneak, they start screaming and get themselves spotted and/or killed.

Some NPCs are rather forgettable, in the sense that they have very little impact on the story line, or their character is rather admirable, sort of like Paarthurnax from Skyrim. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you basically just take jobs from any NPC and call it a day, most of the dialogue is very generic. I did find the main antagonists like Faith or Jacob Seed to have very powerful performances.

I've always enjoyed the Far Cry series, but 5 was definitely the best in my opinion. I also enjoyed Primal, but it was a different type of game.

As far as vehicles, I pretty much only use the Helicopters unless forced to use something else so I don't spend a lot of time on worrying about the other vehicles.

I will definitely be getting FC6 but probably 12 to 18 months after release.
