What I love most about HH is how most all the Germans are played by Jews. And Robert Clary, a French Jew, was in a couple camps as a young boy and has his tatoo to prove it. And how Werner Klemperer said he would only do it if the Germans lost every time.

They also did what they could for civil rights. They gave Ivan Dixon rolls that couldn't be cut out by the south's "black outs" without ruining the show.

started watching 'impossible builds' on hulu. another house show, but i appreciate that every house so far, they at least go over the costs associated and the over-runs..

Got to reccomend The Venture Bros. an animated series about an inept super scientist, his cloned twin boys and their swedish murder machine bodyguard, based on the 1964 Johnny Quest cartoon. Here's the cast doing a PSA on vital mens health concern.

Really enjoyed "Chef" when I first saw it a few years ago. Not the usual fare I choose,but it had a lot if heart and really done well.

if one can suspend a little disbelief for a while, it's not a bad show.

but no one can convince me that these 2 guys just happen to have working power tools on an island, or make paddle wheels out of scrap...

Mentioned this as a tangent in the Anime thread, but I recently watched Lupin (french tv series) on Netflix and loved it. Great show with a good mix of some mystery/drama/suspense/humor (not really comedy).

I'd say it's like a good mix of almost Sherlock Holmes/crime thriller/heist theme. Part of it reminds me a lot of "The Pretender", a really great but not ever really popular show in the 90's, for reasons I can't say here without spoiling anything.
