Yeh i dont think the rear end is supposed to be that pinched.
It should look similar to a Levorg butt but without the rear hatch.

And that car does look pretty good...long overhangs aside.

"Let's make it overly aggressive with some massive leaf blower vents in the grill, some running board wings on the side and a rear end that stick way up in the air"
"Perfect, now how about the WRX?"
" Meh just make it look like ever other sedan out there"
"Can we have a hood scoop?"
"Sure but nothing else that make's it stand out from the crowd and for god's sake drop the vented fenders"

You never know. The front could be an M4 hydronephrosis grille with leftover CTR side vents that Honda replaced with smooth plastic after taking flak for them being fake.
