As tempting as that sounds, I just asked him never to contact me again, that I was blocking his number, and I told his wife if there was ever an emergency she can call and I will help, but I am done with him. This, of course, infuriated him.

TIL my father finally feels connected to me after 51 years. Seeing my car become what I want it to be made him realize I was paying attention all those years of watching him build his hot rod.

I would have gone to the other neighbors house on his other side and thrown them over the fence there. Get him off your back for a while.

They likely contract through multiple 3rd party’s. My RT660’s say made in Japan.

Sadly, no.... The supplier had given a delivery date of last Tuesday... No show Tuesday, check Wednesday, nothing. The garage chases up the order, turns out that it's coming directly from KW (Germany).. FedEx tracker tells us it will be delivered by COP Friday.. Garage shuts at 18.30ish.. FedEx misses the window!!! Check FedEx tracker, it's telling me that delivery is pending....

Anyway, I don't use it much so not missing it. I can't pick it up before this coming weekend.. Saturday will hopefully be it.

The largest share holder (45%) of Pirelli is Chinese.

I have a nephew in the Air Force Academy right now (entering his Sophomore year). He was home for a couple of weeks in early June. He and I talked about it a bit, and really he said it wasn't that bad, as long as you take it in the spirit it is given. He is a very independent, overachiever so I thought he would struggle, but to he seems to treat it basically as I would have, as a game.

I have read that U.S. defence forces are struggling to get people to join who meet basic fitness requirements. That is, there aren't enough people of the correct weight to make up the numbers.
