Well I was away on vacation, things are opening back up after 2 months of lockdown and have had do do some major work in my backyard so haven't touched any of my model projects in weeks. Not uncommon over the summer really.

I was focused on the R32, and working OT takes up free time for me. I was able to primer the EVO6 yesterday tho.

Had a little bit of time today, so I decided to put the color coat on the EVO. It's French blue. A little brighter than I would have liked, so hopefully the clear coat will deepen it slightly. It's under a bin right now drying.

Anyone else hasn't been working on jack shit during the summer? Judging from the lack of posting in this thread, I'm not the only one haha

Went to put the waterslide decals on the EVO6, and half of them disintegrated as soon as they left the backing. I wonder how old this particular model is, cuz the decals did look a bit aged.

Technically still plastic 😜
Painted Tamiya PS47 "pink-gold" flip paint. Light buckets were included and I'll be using those. Still deciding on if I want to run LEDs, and if I do, I'll go with MyTrickRC Afterburners. The 1/24 EVO6 was clear coated the same time this S15 body was painted. |
