I've seen the thumbnail for that clip a couple of times but I couldn't bring myself to click on it because I was fearing he would grab that plastic penis on the right.

There are two types of standard model that I know of.
This one one

and this one. I thought this clip to be a good introduction to the subject.

if that's impressive, this will blow you away.

this guy started 7 years ago. he built a scale fuel-injected v10 by hand, and then went further and is currently building a fully-featured r/c car around the v10, with electric/hybrid capabilities, and a full gearbox...

I know that is a work of magnificent art but I can't help but think (and I feel guilty for thinking this) running it on compressed air is cheating.

Today I learned that it's time for coilovers!! Wasn't planned! Car was due its yearly health check. Had noted that the drive was a bit 'crashy', I put it down to using the DD rental which is softer etc..

Anyway, the mechanic commences his checking of bits 'n' bobs only to report that my front Eibach Sportlines were broken!! NSF broken in 3 parts!! Only had them about 6years.. I put it down to the condition of our roads!!

Anyway, car was left with the dealer, ordered a set of KW V3 through the dealer (was considering V1's but the deal on the V3 was really good), they arrive on Tuesday, fitted in the week, re-tested and pick it up next week..

No idea what I'm going to do with the all the adjustability that is available on the V3!! I'll have to get down and dirty to play with the settings, I'm sure I can manage to fuck up the ride!

I thoroughly enjoyed playing with the 2-way ASTs on I had on my car. I was a little apprehensive too thinking they would be beyond me but it turned out it was a doddle. Went too far? Just go back.
I'm guessing it took me about 2 months to get the dampers where I wanted them.

Things that come to mind.
I would suggest 2 click changes for more positive feedback then 1 click to fine tune.
Secondly, and I know you already know this, only make one change at a time.
Seriously, 2-ways are awesome.

(As a small aside I have ordered V3s for the Suzuki.)

The dealership is so accommodating, always helpful and never fretted over after market parts. When the car went in for the valves recall, they installed the STI engine and transmission mounts.. I will need to get round to changing the bushes, at the moment the car only has 14K.. may be next year. Looks like it's staying with me for a few more years..

Is the KW an easy, straight out of the box installation? No other parts required?

No idea given neither the coilovers or the car has arrived as yet but my impression is that they are straight swaps. KWs are TÜV approved so I imagine the fitting would be straight forward.
