Yep. Been a patron of his for several months. Seems like a really nice guy and a heck of a pilot.

Anyone know how to remove that black caulk junk around the fuel tank cover? That stuff is nasty, and gets everywhere.

I just left it in place and put the new stuff over the top. Wasn't worth it for my level of patience.

We had a large (3 feet diameter) cottonwood tree in the middle of several tall pine trees in our side-front yard. The large leaves would fall and "stick" to the driveway when wet. I had it cut down and hauled off. Took this guy and his wife all day to do the job (a 2' section at a time). No way (place to fell it). The fellow ask if I wanted for him to bring in a stump grinder to get rid of the stump because It would continue to grow shoots. I said no, I'd take care of the stump. How? Well this was back in my "change my own oil days". I simply poured the used oil on the stump and the pithy wood would absorb the oil like a big ol sponge. The tree finally gave up trying to regrow.

Was away at my family's property in the southern Cariboo this weekend. Got placed on evacuation alert (could be told to leave with 20 mins notice) due to some reasonably sized fires 6km to our south and 9km to our north. Was out on the paddleboard and could see both fires when in the middle of the lake.
We left a day early because it started getting really smoky. Not good news considering July just started and there are 2.5 months of hot dry weather ahead. Shaping up to be a really bad fire season again... |

Just renewed the BRZ's registration for another 2 years. With having the car for 7 years now, it is already the longest I've owned a car. While I still really enjoy driving the thing, in no way does sunk cost fallacy play into my decision to keep it even longer. Nope. Not at all.
Also I ended up buying new (smaller) wheels anyway. |

I couldn't do that. 3 days in there would be pieces of speaker all over the floor. This is coming from a guy who deals with the production department playing Spanish music all day.
