My hiring manager at Boston Scientific asked me this very question. I thought it was ridiculous at the time but after asking a few colleagues over the years, I realized how effective the question is. SMH

Back before TBRMSAO I used to ride the VFR (or KLR) from deep south Texas to the Bandera area several times a year. Even geared up it usually wasn't horrible. If you get hot, twist the wrist and add some airspeed. But, there are times when the faster you go the hotter you get. When the wind turns hot - it's fucking hot. Humid or dry - the turkey gets cooked regardless.

Oh, for sure! Dry heat is actually dangerous because the naïve don't realize how much water they are losing to sweat.

I did just upgrade my sprinkler control system to one of those fancy online ones that has all kind of things you can do with it, maybe that's an option, let me check....

I set up some guerilla drip irrigation so now I have four little patches of green around my fruit trees. Even have clover springing up and the bees are loving it.

Almost time finally for the witness deposition. I've got Haru napping in the bedroom in his crate but he's already been there for a little over an hour. So hopefully he can last another hour or so.

I'm just giving my witness testimony over a Zoom but it's stressing me the F out. I hope this is the end of it once and for all.

3 mins to go...

Oh, I know what I need to do now. I don't have a sprinkler system, so I just need to install one and then we will get a monsoon.

This was the worst thing ever and honestly I don't think I'll ever report an accident again.

Might be up there with one of my worst life experiences ever.

Probably a hundred questions. Some repeated later in the interview. Then they pulled up my statement from that week of when a CHP detective interviewed me by phone.

Then they never took my statement off the screen, so I basically had to keep reading it line by line as they confirmed correctness and stuff, so I felt like I kept re-living the event. Meanwhile both parties lawyers kept bickering on and off, objecting and saying questions were attempting to mislead me, blah blah, and how it's against California penal code and shit and if they keep on it they'll stop the deposition and redo it.

Terrible experience. And to top it off, after 75 minutes of grilling me they say "let's take a ten minute break and come back for more", which stressed me out even more and then I come back only for them to both say "no more questions, thanks".

You think movies and tv over exaggerate court appearances with lawyers getting all pissed at each other but it actually happens in real life.
