@Dzmitry I should have some good data coming up. I am using Innovate Motorsports MTX gauges going to a sensor interface and a logger. So I will be able to log and plot temp/pressure and RPM. I was trying to get it done last week for my last track day, I just ran out of time to make a harness to pull RPM reference from an ignition coil. The data will get posted up in a new thread. I plan to test 0-20 and 5-30 with and without oil cooler over the course of this year. I just have to find the time. I still need to swap the radiator on my car, and pull the engine and reseal the timing cover and install the rocker retainer kit. Those take priority.

Hey! I just found this comment which I find very useful, but I am confused about the psi drop table and the radiator size. How come is that more rows means less pressure drop? i.e 610 has 4.8 psi drop vs 613 has 4.0 psi drop Basically I am debating between a setrab with 10 or 13 rows because I am concerned about overcooling in daily use and the 10 rows could be beneficial here. I make mix usage and right now I see easliy temps of 135° on the track, so an oil cooler is for sure needed (will keep NA) |

More rows means there are more passages for the oil to go through. Think of it as a larger hose. With more passages the oil is flowing slower giving heat exchanging more time to work. You are better going with more rows than longer oil cooler.

I am deciding between 10 or 13 rows. It will be placed in the front bumper. My car is NA and I have mixed usage road/track but I am really concerned about overcooling in winter so I thought about going for 10 rows. Any thoughts on this? |

Get a thermostatic sandwich plate and you don't have to worry about overcooling. Regardless of winter, you should use a thermostatic plate anyways.
