Idk but it looks beastly to me. I'm going to need a truck for my newly bought farm and this might be it! Or the former lol!

lol.

I dont think its terrible looking, its not pretty but it is imposing.
But i dont know what you can really do nowadays to make a truck's grille even bigger that doesnt just engulf the entire front end in a square black hole.

The dealership person who leaked it is the dealer principal. They'll prolly ding him on the initial allocation but that's all.

I think the exterior is ugly and the interior makes a Camry look upscale.

The worst part is the decision to drop the V8 in favor of the revised but still ancient V6 found throughout the Toyota and Lexus lineup.

It won't matter though, production is already maxed out on the outgoing model so love it or hate it, we're stuck with it for another decade.

If I were interested in a Tundra I'd scoop a leftover V8 model, incentives are pretty good through August.

If you took the Toyota logo off of it, I'd have identified it as a new GM product.

Are they going to finish the front?

/s obviously, but chevy’s precedent of just leaving the front open has been set and accepted apparently. Oh well, I wasn’t going to buy a truck either way so I guess it doesn’t matter.

The designers must have saved a ton by switching from clay to Legos.

Really dislike the grill and bumper, but love everything else. The current Tacoma looks great so this scaled up version for the Tundra a solid in my opinion. Just gotta find a way to tone down that bumper and likely just get used to the grill.

Just a few years ago I would have agreed with this but the dudebro is the minority driving trucks now.
Most are family vehicles and women are almost half the buyers. They do still have that dudebro interest in bulk though!

From Car and Driver:
The new truck's will be much larger so it can compete with the Ford F-150 and Ram 1500's available 12.0-inch screens.

So now we'll have a battle of biggest grills and biggest screen. I'm honestly not a fan of big screens in cars, find them distracting.

Yea, that was my single biggest complaint about the Mach-E when I drove it. The screen is HUGE and frankly you can't practically use it without taking your eyes off the road for a little too long. It was big enough I banged my knees on the bottom corner at times.

It also had a huge amount of white space (unused space) when in use. It was like looking at an iPhone optimized app on an iPad.
