Still on the factory oil. No oil change. Bought the car from big two. They ran a test on just about all combinations of the parts, so don't worry, they did a great job, high quality work, and you better believe that just about every part I replace on my car is going to be agency power.

Yes but the gains aren't as easily compared to the other shops doing 5th gear pulls. There will be a difference.

I also thought they were doing a full exhaust and no pulley pull.

QFT. Thank you Vivid for doing this, it clears a lot of things up.

I suspect that if other manufacturers were dynoing in 3rd instead of 5th which is 1.000 and is the standard from what I've learned they would show stronger exhaust gains.
Also QFT. It's important to note that these were done in 3rd gear rather than 4th or 5th. They're still very valid numbers, and it's a great post. Just keep in mind that these numbers will read slightly higher than a 4th/5th gear pull would.

Overall, I'd say they're making comparable (on the high end, actually) power to other companies I've seen that are doing pulls in a higher gear. Notbad.jpg

Thank you again Vivid.

Good Morning everyone.

I just woke up. Its going to be a bit before I jump back in here and start work on here again. But sometime today. I have some family stuff to catch up on.
I put up as much as I could before I woke up with keyboard imprinted on my forehead.

I still have a lot more to post. More pictures, Video's (Video from Cole Monday) And more dyno sheets. We ran each part by itself. And the whole with and without the crank pulley.

I'll make sure to update more today and get everyone's questions answered.

Thanks for all the comments so far!

I have yet to see any shop on here do 5th gear pulls. I have seen 4th all over the place. Not saying your wrong, I just have not seen it.

actually running in 4th or 5th gear would yield higher numbers since there would be more load on the dyno... so I would suspect even higher numbers if done in 4th/5th, tuners correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes i was thinking the same thing, 4th gear pull would yield higher numbers.

first of all thank you vivid for the hard work. Even though it didn't show the 40wph claimed in the first thread, but at least it clear everything up and at the end this is a product that is a par with other exhaust systems.

Now there are a couple of new question here.

How do one compare dyno runs results with different gears? if a customer is in the market for a exhaust system, I'm sure they'd be interested in know that. how much whp does the 10 whp gain in 3th gear mean in 5th gear?

also should there be a standard gear that all dyno testings should be ran on?

Hey, thanks for answering my question about the undertray fitting with your header.
Two other questions, from the last 3 threads:
1) Are your parts made in China
2) do the headers throw a check engine light

Thanks again!
