TIL Smart people only keep a vehicle until the warranty expires.

Also learned that I hate my hetero life partner's Silverado almost as much as I hate her Sonata.

Additionally, was reminded MI winters render steel parts unserviceable surprisingly fast.

i learned a long time ago, getting new cars all the time is more expensive than i can afford, besides the fact that selling is a pain, buying is a pain, banks are a pain, and dmv's are a pain. so i keep them as long as i can, maintain them to the best of my ability, and only trade in/up/down/sideways when all hope of maintenance left a few years before...

This track is just very coarse asphalt, lots of aggregate at the surface and lots of seams in the asphalt. I only ran these for a few sessions to dial in hot pressures and get a feel for them. I brought a set of SX2's as well to run most of the time.
