My wife is wanting an air fryer, I've been looking at the Ninja twin cooker.. looks interesting, ugly, but interesting. However, as we have cut out oil in our diet, question, does it work as well without oil?

As an aside, and not attempting to belittle this, but this store must be the last one in Atlanta, and maybe Georgia, that is enforcing a mask rule. I've been in dozens of stores "maskless" in the past three weeks and have not had any pushback regardless of what is on the door (yes, I'm fully vaccinated, since January). In fact, masks have all but disappeared in most places. In fact, most places are taking down their signs or replacing them with ones with qualifying "fully vaccinated" language.

It's pretty similar where I live. The people not wearing masks are certainly not the type of people to be vaccinated though

You can use it sans oil and if the food you're cooking has natural fats in it that will serve as a substitute, but a quick spritz of cooking oil certainly makes things more crispy.

Yep, agree with @alphasaur a little oil spritzed on things like potatoes helps the fries/crisps turn out correctly.

By the way, an air fryer isn't anything but a small convection oven. if your regular oven is a convection oven you can do the same with a raised rack. We use that for "large batches" of things and the smaller one when its just the two of us.

As a wok, I just use the pots bathroom. Act normal and they don’t even notice.
