I never cared for crowded places in general, so COVID didn't change much for me on that aspect. However, since I'm vaccinated, I'm not concerned being at the gym (or any place) when it's busy. I just can't get anything done, so I avoid going during that time, too.

Amusement parks can be pretty handy when you have children. We have Paramount Canada's Wonderland literally 15 minutes from here. When my daughter was small (she's turning 23) I had a season pass. I remember once leaving early due to misbehavior. With my son, we didn't go as often. As an adult, I don't get terribly excited but have lots of childhood memories of the filthy CNE and Crystal Beach. Disney parks of course are on a whole different level. My daughter went, and I'll make it up to my son with something else, he's going to be 14 soon.

I'm glad people aren't all hunkered down like some WW2 holdouts on Iwojima or something.

The best thing to do here is just enjoy your toys if you have them or find something to keep mentally occupied and be patient. We're starting to open up tomorrow and I'm already anxious.

Amusement parks are important for kids. We're not meant to be isolated or locked down. Fwiw I love amusement parks minus the gut flipping rides though

Always wanted to go to Canada's Wonderland. I worked for Taft when they opened CW in 1981 (I worked at King's Dominion in Virginia). I've been to all the other sister parks but CW is on my bucketlist.

Well probably most of the public would end up getting traded for cigarettes on the first day.

Got my second dose of pfizer yesterday at 10am. I feel on the verge of being eff'd up. Very achy feeling and the beginnings of a bad headache. Drank a ton of water yesterday in anticipation. Hopefully it helps.

As much as I would like to relax the rest of the day I need to drive 45 min to go get more E85 and also pick up my new car trailer, which is another 45 min past that

My second Pfizer gave me a small headache and soreness between my shoulder blades.
