if you search on bat you'll find they do not seem too interested in putting any brz/fr-s up...it's probably because they're still somewhat newish cars and not particularly rare.
as someone in the market for a brz i think you're really overestimating the extra value brought by the 'rarity' of a first year limited edition model. you might try carsandbids or ebay instead. |

Technically the First86 cars weren't really a limited edition, they were just delivered early and given some badges to indicate that. In fact, it's not even the first 86 US VINS (mine is in the 300s) as they were just pulled off the shipments based on the color and transmission choice of the purchaser.

It may be that the path of least resistance is to trade it in next month when I get the Mustang Mach E and thus at least get the sales tax break.
