Oh I bet daddy wanted you to do this, as he is paying through the teeth for the little moron to drive his Jeep and will pay even more now, GOOD!

Do not EVER do this. It used to be OK 15-20+ years ago, but nowadays people are far too dishonest to use this method.

Out of the 3 times I thought I would be nice and skip the insurance and let them pay out of pocket(small accidents), all three changed their mind after the husband/boyfriend who wasn't even there said his wife/gf wasn't at fault.

Usually they change their mind when you bring up the rental car being needed for a minimum of 3-5 days and the reminder that $30 a day is an insurance companies special low rate for the simplest vehicle they have and act as if they've never done an insurance claim before and are surprised that the car needs painting(duh). Justice was served all 3 times, but not without a little extra effort.

Good thing no airbags deployed. That would have been REALLY bad.

I'm glad that the this is going through insurance. Raise that kids rates and maybe daddy won't be able to pay for the insurance anymore, take one more bad driver off the roads...

I see accidents everyday on my commute to AND from work... *sigh*... Damn L.A. drivers...

Honestly the damage doesnt look very bad at all, Im glad it will get fixed via insurance, just a pain in the ass to deal with. Also your gas cap looks funny, did you replace yours with an after market one?

Its the chrome fuel door cover i'm sure.

Yea it doesn't look like a terrible amount of damage, but modern car body parts and panels are surprisingly good at hiding damage these days...

Heres hoping you just need a new bumper and trunk! Looks like bits of your rear quarter panel near the taillights will need to be banged back into shape though :/...

If it wasn't reported and the insurance company found out you could be denied auto insurance by insurance companies.

It was a sad, sad day.
Geez, that is icing on the cake there. If the other guy's insurance it paying for everything, then it is imperative that you get a corvette as a rental car while yours is in the shop.

To the OP, sorry this had to happen to you. But at least the damage is being paid for.

I disagree, the problem isn't age since people can be immature idiots at any age.

It's education and seat time.
Turning 20 isn't going to magically make you understand the implications of being behind the wheel.
BTW, In some states, the lowest age you can drive IS 18.

IMO if somebody wants to learn how to drive they should be able to in a controlled environment from the earliest age their feet can reach the pedals and their eyes can see over the dashboard. And once the instructor or whoever certifies them they should be able to drive on the road with all other motorists.

Damnit bro, hearing things like this makes me rage. If you drop something while driving, fricking leave it there until you can find someplace to pull over. Why on gods green earth would you take your eyes away from whats infront of you while propelling a two ton piece of machinery for a pack of friggin cigs.

Listen bro, I'm glad your okay and I'm so sorry this had to happen to you.

P.S. not for nothing, I'm giving you a round of applause for not choking the stupid out of him when he came out with that "I know how you feel" line; cause I would have.

That sucks ..

From your Reddit post I read that you went to competition Subaru. I think I actually sat in your car when I was there on July 1st. Brz premium with 20% tint + GPS?

Glad to hear people at competition Subaru were really helpful.
