You may be a bit behind as there are at least 64, although suppose you could be referring to the latest 26 of the 64.

Lol, I believe the acronym is now LGBTQIA+, which is > 2 more than the last time I saw/heard it. Ok, some of those aren't genders, but the fact that it needs a "+" means that trying to classify gender identity in a discrete manner had become a fool's errand. It just needs to be a "analog gender" community.

Which would be an interesting problem for language. What dimensions does "gender" span? How many spectrums do we need to describe... Hmmm.... Now this is an engineering problem.

It is already becoming a problem. Spanish for example, we assign a gender to objects and things of such. "El Carro" which means the car, is considered male because of the of "o" at the end, so it gets a pronoun of "El", Which can be translated into either "The" or Him, depending the context. So some groups are looking into adding a neutral word into most phrases to make them gender neutral. So "El Carro" , The Car, would be "El Carre" which translates to nothing in english because it doesn't make any sense.

Honestly, I used to truly care about pronouns and identities as I have family and friends in the community. At the point where it got past him/her/they, I'm at the "I understand your preference, but here's the deal, I'm likely to not remember your specific preference, and I'm not going to ask, so you'll either have to forgive me or not, but I mean no offense. Heck, I can't even remember to call my three sons by their individual names".

Of those 64 terms there are two that are missing, MALE And FEMALE. It was written by a nonbinary in such a way that I feel it was to justify "their" point of view. Which is; To discredit heterolsexual norms. I'll do me and everyone else can do themself but don't try to confuse things with $100 words!

Yeah, fuck that. I'll play along but you have either an inny or an outie. Hungarians have words for man, woman, boy, girl but that's about it. Pronouns have no gender. Works great.
