Appreciate the offer, but I don't do consoles, and don't own a PS4.

oooohhhh! Is Ubisoft taking a risk? I certainly hope so.
Re Far Cry 6
"Our story is political. A story about a modern revolution must be. There are hard, relevant discussions in Far Cry 6 about the conditions that lead to the rise of fascism in a nation, the costs of imperialism, forced labor, the need for free-and-fair elections, LGBTQ+ rights, and more within the context of Yara, a fictional island in the Caribbean. My goal was to empower our team to be fearless in the story we were telling, and we worked incredibly hard to do this over the last five years. We also tried to be very careful about how we approached our inspirations, which include Cuba, but also other countries around the world that have experienced political revolutions in their histories."

So far Far Cry 5 is fun as hell. Been hunting cougars, elk, bears with my dog.

I don't know I consider it a risk, but it would be good if there was some substance to the story. It's really a natural extension of the Far Cry universe to me.

I wish they did more of that with Assassin's Creed. It would be fun to participate in an alternate version of history with the actual end results being historically accurate.

Loaded GTA5 and not sure if it's just not optimized, or my Ryzen 5 not being able to handle it at max settings, but it can get jittery. Still forgot how fun it is just to goof around in the game.

I don't know why I never played any of the series, but if this is good I'm deff getting FC6.

The monitor that I just got just went down on sale, again, this time is listed at $299. First things first, I'm getting a price match. Next, I would highly suggest getting this monitor because for the price, you get quite a bit of goodies.

The GIGABYTE 32" LED Curved QHD FreeSync Monitor with HDR is great, really neat. I still need to calibrate it using Toms hardware software. But initial thoughts about it are favorable. Comes with all the cables you'll need, and then some. HDMI cables, dual display, and Display Port cable. Different outlet connections too. Assembly takes about 3 minutes with a cross and flat screwdriver.
Some of the neat features is the FPS display that can be places on either corner of the monitor. I tested this playing Far Cry 5 at 1440 Ultra settings, no HDR, and my FPS were in the high 60s low 70s. Which is about right. For the giggles I played Need for Speed: Carbon, 170+ FPS at Max display and rendering settings.
Using the Display Port is the only way you can unlock the 165Hz refresh rate. Using HDMI it will only allow you to unlock 144hz refresh.
There's another feature I have yet to try, and that is the cross-hair feature, apparently is supposed to place a cross-hair for you to improve your experience using FPS games.
For $299 I'd say this is a pretty solid choice if you play at 1080/1440 settings, that 165hz refresh rate is really solid.

Even though this reminds me of the days where I would lineup to get the latest Call of Duty for the midnight release at GameStop during High School, this is just sad, 200 people lined up. Big retailers not giving a flying F about their customers as long as they made their money. I think the only one that did it right was Newegg, because at least you had a chance to win the shuffle and guaranteed a purchase. Whereas smashing the F5 button waiting for a drop would be pointless and hopeless because by the time you checkout, all cards would be sold out. Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Ebay have done nothing about price gouging. Can't completely blame it on manufacturers because of the conditions of the past year, but better measures could've been taken by retailers to protect their customers and secure purchases.
