Wired a stealth display for my V1 detector. Now I need to find a way to conceal the actual detector. I'm thinking maybe just get a little organizer for the visor.

- Hit 4,000 miles
- Test fit some wheels (favoring the TSW Nurinberg 18's for street)

I used a silver metallic sharpie marker advertised to work on plastic as a base layer, then I used a very fine point blue sharpie marker to detail the circle. To prevent that from rubbing off over time, I plan to mask the key with tape and take an exacto to cut the oval back out, and shoot is with some clear. I think it looks sweet!

I got my first service earlier this week and had the dealership adjust the position of the clutch to be the same height as the brake pedal which is a MUST DO!!! It is such an improvement over before. Other then that just driving cross country and did almost 2k miles in the past 24 hours.

debadged it....
fyi, DO NOT rub with your thumb for too long, lol. It was easy to get off since it's so new. And I didn't feel like using any chemicals... so I rubbed at the double sided tape residue. It was coming off pretty good, then I felt my finger go a lil numb and slide funny. I looked at it, and the skin folded over on itself some. It was one of those "huh, how 'bout that" moments.... so I fixed the skin. It seems I gave myself a blister. So I cut a piece of skin so I could drain it some... That was on the "Subaru" side. On the BRZ side I grabbed a "eraser" (for pinstripe removal) from work and used it to clean the glue and used light rubbing of finger to get it off. Then used a detail spray to do quick clean. |
