Installed intake manifold spacers/power blocks, not a bad mod for the price, changed the powerband a bit lower so i felt the low end once it was put in.
Got it off amazon for $60 and the crawford performance re install kit for $20 from their website directly.

Saw my car get towed away to the body shop
![]() Was in a wreck last year and the body shop never installed a brace that connects the front lower control arm frame stud to another point on the car. Never noticed as I don't generally look in that area. Rode like that for a year before the clunking. Stud is now free from the frame and the hole had gotten just big enough to cause some rattling. Body shop should be liable, I guess I'll see how it actually turns out. |

Installed the rear bumper applique. Tried to snap a pic but it's invisible.

Just dropped off the Berz at the shop for the week to have the Edelbrock supercharger installed and tuned. Nervous and excited!

Installed AC delete and FF kit. Threw the ARC8's with my RT660's on the car so I can get my SX2's mounted to my 57DR's. Need to change the mounting of the display to make it more solid so this is just temporary. I do need to rewire it to be evap reference instead of rear o2 reference.

@DeliciousTuning wanted to charge me like $100 or 200 just if I send the kit in to get it inspected to make sure it's in working order and have one of the fuel lines replaced since it got a kink in it. I'm sure the fuel line thing I could do myself but that's a lot of money just to have it confirmed as correctly working. I'm only hesitant after the problems I had last time, otherwise I'd have had it reinstalled by now.

I really don't have any E85 near me but I didn't want to go through the hassle of flashing back and forth so I just said screw it and bought the kit. It is mostly for track days.

Over the weekend...
Replaced Magnaflow CBE with Perrin 2.5 Resonated CBE. Installed radium master cylinder brace. The difference in quality over the magnaflow was very apparent right when I opened the box. Welds all look perfect, everything polished nicely, and the flanges are solid instead of just flared / punched metal. And the tips are even at the diffuser now! V-band clamps for making the connections are sooooo nice and easy compared to the slip-on clamps the magnaflow used. I'm also sure that the 300 series stainless will hold up a lot better than the 410 stainless magnaflow uses on their pipes... only 3.5 years and it was pretty rusty under there. For nearly twice the price I'm hoping it is the last one I will ever purchase for the car! Sound wise it is a tiny bit quieter than the magnaflow on cold start and when cruising (this was the intent of making the change). It has a nice throaty growl when you get on it and downshift, but is very reasonable for regular driving and I can keep it really quiet around residential areas. Master cylinder brace is... OK. Underwhelming is a good way to describe it considering the cost. Stiffens up the pedal nicely near the end of travel under heavier braking. I'll keep it, but can't say I recommend it for street use. |

I've heard mainly positive reviews of MCB's but wanted to know more about this one in particular. I guess I'll hold off on this kind of part for a while. Seems like it's more of a piece to make the engine bay a little more prettier than functional wise.
