It was for driving at unsafe speed for conditions but don't give them any ideas... that one could be next. The funny thing is there are no less than five deer on the side of the road any given day of the week.

It's all good though the deer got a ticket for jaywalking.

my problem is all of my allen keys are t-handles with plastic grips on them, or part of a foldout type set, so i'd never get that close!

Sure you could. Use the "T" handle as the bigger one and the smaller one from the fold out set. Leave enough of the fold out exposed so that the jaws of your biggest vice grips can squeeze in between the fold out and the fastener. Then clamp down on both and use the vice grips to turn the fastener.
