Random Thoughts - Part Deux [NO POLITICS]
Quote:
Nice! MecArmy X3S is nice to have it on the keychain. It’s build tough & don’t need to worry about breaking plus it’s rechargeable battery, so just connect w micro-USB to recharge the battery. I have few other keychain size flashlights as an option. Left - Right Olight i1R 2Eos, MecArmy X3S, Rovyvon A5 (older model) ![]() Rovyvon have the best lumen output. iirc newest A5 series output 650 lumen vs i1R 2Eos is 150 lumen & X3S is 130 lumen. My sis-in-law really liked Rovyvon, so she bought one herself & put it on her keychain lol ![]() Depends on my mood, I change the edc. Recently got into brass edc & looked into few brands & MecArmy was the best size/lumen, so went w it. If Rovyvon made one in brass, def bought it. Currently trying to make titanium/carbon fiber edc collection. Of course if I want a bit more power, I got Rovyvon A29 brass which output 1,000 lumen, but that’s more of pocket carry than keychain.

I'll tell you what I tell my sons, there is only two possible outcomes to any relationship, it lasts forever or it doesn't. Now you know which one this one was, time to look for the other outcome.

I should have probably asked what you recommended. I do have a 1000 lumen light from Fenix I usually leave in whatever I am DD'ing.

Haha I still think X3S is good. If you’re looking for small brass flashlight. If you don’t care, I would recommend Rovyvon cuz of brightness & easy to used. Both i1R & X3S are twist to turn on the light vs A5 is push the button, so easy to turn on w 1 hand vs twist require 2 hands. All 3 are priced around same, so it’s all come down the 4 things. Material made out of, lumen, size & features. |

If I really need to blind someone I use this PD35. Of course they came out with a USB rechargeable version right after I bought this one and it eats battery. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Haha yeah I did look into PD35 before. A20 series was bang for buck, so went w A29 instead of PD35.
