I had the first generation A-class which had the revolutionary for its time sandwich concept. Rear passenger knee space was on par with the S-class of the time. Then they switched for cost cutting purposes to the current A-class platform (AMG A45 S) which is nothing more than a premium GTI. Nothing impressive on my side about these 3 cars (Fiesta ST, AMG A45, GR Yaris). Yaris will just get the hot-hatch trophies as the newest in the category and having massive amounts of promotion.

To be fair, there is nothing about a hot hatch ,except maybe the way it drives, I've ever liked, so excuse me while my bias shows...
That explains it then. I love the WRC look, and have always loved small hatchbacks. I cannot overstate how much I am angry at Toyota for not bringing the GR Yaris to the USA.

Have you driven a Fiesta ST? There's a reason everyone all over the world said it was one of the best driving cars out there. It's the only Ford car I wish they would still sell in the USA.

And tell me how many 2 door all wheel drive cars even exist any more? Extremely rare is an understatement. I'd buy a GR Yaris just for that if I could.

Well let's see.. ah yes: 918, NSX, GTR, Huracan, R8, RS5, etc....

I think the problem is 2dr AWD isn't really priced for the average consumer. Does it really need to be 2dr? It's not like the GR Yaris is even good looking, it's like the Bugatti affect, desirable stats, ugly as sin.

The 6.3 or the 4.0?

Either way, I will never stop being angry that MB won't sell the C63 wagon in the US.

Tires dug into the soft mud/dirt/gravel, extremely common, I saw it happen at Laguna with a Miata many years ago.

It's why when you go to the track instructors should be teaching you to keep the wheel straight and gradually return to the tarmac instead of trying to be a hero and getting the car back on the pavement too aggressively. Not that it would have helped that Yaris, it was too far gone after the second snap, he might have been able to save it if he gave up on the first rotation and locked the car down at the apex but sometimes things just don't go your way.

You should literally learn that when you begin driving period. My driving instructor taught me that, which likely ended up saving me a ton of damage from my first time going off track.
