That s2000 in the video must be slow. If they hang together that closely i'll kill one of those.

Stock...the horsepower difference isn't enormous. S2k weighs a bit more and dynos at around 190 WHP if I remember correctly, and has a worse drag coefficient. I have no doubt the S2k is faster, but I wouldn't consider it hugely so. Having owned both, they're fairly similar.

That video the S missed third but found it quick. There are two other vids from the same night where it pulled a few cars on it but not that much. I think your's would pull on stocke or bolt on S for sure. They really only trap mid to high 13's even with all bolt-ons.

If you read reviews for the s2000 and fr-s/brz most places put them both at 14.9 for the 1/4. Not sure why the brz is so much slower in that vid, probably an auto.

Well that there's your problem. We all know how much faster the FR-S is compared to the BRZ.

Ive been skipping around this thread and i saw the question that an AT won't work with this kit or any turbo at all, is this true?
Great job on the kit btw, this is really some great stuff going on here. Peace. |

Then post a video of a turbo 86 vs a turbo S2K... It won't end well. |

This is no joke, those engines can put down quite a bit of horsepower without any internal upgrades with forced induction. On the other hand their diffs are known to be very fragile. I'm curious how much power our diffs can handle before they decide to frag.
