WR blue base coat - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hey all, couldn't find anything anywhere about this. My BRZ is WR blue (02C), the engine bay is a darker blue, looks like Ultramarine (which is a Toyota colour I think) or Galaxy Blue Silica. (Subaru)

Is anyone able to confirm if it is either of the two? ( I wondered if they base coated a heap of bodies in the Toyota ultramarine base, then top coated the subies in WR blue)

I know I can get some colour swatches and compare but thought some knowledgeable bugger on here would know for sure.

Subaru does not spray the engine bay with any clearcoat so it is just primer and base coat. So it probably is wrb just without clear.

my initial thought exactly but nah, it's a totally different colour. Even unbuffed and un-clearcoated WR blue still looks like WR Blue.

Never found codes for under bonnet etc color. I would Eye match it in basecoat plus 5-10% hardener,spray it, then apply the body color to match the factory appearance where the two meet.
I know this doesn`t answer your question but its how I painted new cars
