I don't think you really know all the things you are using that have less than 20 years of data. For example, do you use a smartphone? We don't have 20 years of data regarding how safe it is to have a continuous stream of EM radiation coming out of your pocket.

On the other hand, mRNA vaccine research has been a thing since the 1990s, well over 20 years ago at this point.

You keep contradicting yourself.

You want everybody to get it. But everybody should include you.

So you want everybody else to do the work except for you so you can reap the benefits.

And on top of that, you don't really have an exact, well-defined reason for not taking an mRNA vaccine (also, why not just get the Johnson and Johnson one?).

Like, I'd understand it if you had a solid reason: allergy to something in the vaccine, or you were a woman trying to get pregnant with IVF and the doctor said it's not safe enough yet for that, etc.

But the reasons you keep bringing up don't really have the kind of circumstance to them that would prove any kind of serious, negative outcome for you.

But, like the processes you seem so concerned about with mRNA vaccines, you keep reengineering your arguments. The difference is the virologists working on the vaccines, have a pretty good idea of what they are doing - you have no clue. I suspect you are either getting your newsfeed directly from Qanon or you desperately scour the internet for anything that mentions genes and twist that into a confused jumble of unrelated factoids.

I am curious, where are you finding this stuff? It really is the sort of "research" that the "Q" crazies use to weave their webs of fantasy about cabals of child molesting, blood drinking, satanists. You have said you are unwilling to get vaccinated. OK. As far as I can tell, no one is going to seize you, tie you to a chair, and jab a needle in your arm.

It's pretty much impossible to not eat geneticially modified food. Just about everything we consider food (whether animal or vegetable) has gone through gene modification either directly through gene manipulation or through selective breeding.

My wife is a vegetarian, I wasn't much of a meat eater so my diet was more or less aligned with my wife. Only diverting when I was in the office, when what was available locally worked for me.

Since the lockdown, we have slowly moved over to plant based diet, the only dairy products being milk for tea and my cornflakes (I can't do oat milk). We have also cut out oil..

Ok, now I'm going to bring up principle again. Choices. Our days are filled with strings of discrete choices. Rarely is a correct choice the easy one.

It really comes down to choosing whether to be part of the solution, or the problem.

Bananas are a great example of this. The bananas one sees in stores has been genetically modified. Even the organic ones are.
